J.B. Bernstein Joins the Ranks of Cambridge Who's Who
Veteran sports marketer and agent has represented the likes of Barry Bonds, Barry Sanders, Emmitt Smith and Curtis Martin


MIAMI, FL, June 17, 2010 /24-7PressRelease/ --J.B. Bernstein, Chief Marketing Officer and Co-Founder of Seven Figures Management, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for showing dedication, leadership and excellence in all aspects of sports marketing.

A 21-year veteran of the sports industry, J.B. Bernstein is widely respected for his expertise in sports marketing and licensing. As the CMO of Seven Figures Management, a sports marketing and athlete representation firm, Mr. Bernstein is in charge of all day-to-day operations including overseeing all existing sponsorships, negotiating new sponsorships, handling marketing and licensing for all clients, maintaining client relations, and developing new business. With a particular focus on baseball and football, Mr. Bernstein has represented such legends as Barry Bonds, Barry Sanders, Emmitt Smith, and Curtis Martin.

Deeply involved in all aspects of his profession, he also recruits players and was the mastermind behind the "The Million Dollar Arm," a revolutionary reality TV show & talent search for baseball players in India. The contest is open to boys between the ages of 16 and 21, with the winner receiving $100,000, a chance to try for $1 million, and a trip to the United States to train for the once in a lifetime chance to try out for all 33 Major League Baseball teams. So far, the winners from the contest's first season, Rinku Bhrahmdeen Singh and Dinesh Kumar Patel, both signed with the Pittsburgh Pirates. This catapulted the boys to overnight fame in India becoming the first Indian-born players to sign pro baseball contracts in the U.S. Their story has been featured in over 100 countries worldwide, drawing so much notoriety that Sony Pictures has purchased the life story rights for Bernstein, and the two Indian contest winners to produce a major motion picture that will be released worldwide in the summer of 2011.

A bona fide marketing whiz, Mr. Bernstein plans to introduce the contest in other countries including China, Taiwan, and Korea. The company is also looking to expand the concept into other sports as well.

Mr. Bernstein received his master's degree from in 1987 from The London School of Economics, and his bachelor's degree in political economics in 1986 from the University of Massachusetts Amherst. In his spare time he achieved a Ph.D. in physics in 2006 from the University of Southern California and is currently pursuing his second Ph.D. a related field. When he is not working, he volunteers with the Make-A-Wish Foundation. He also generously gives his time and resources to Boys and Girls Club of South Central Kansas and the Barry Bonds Family .Foundation. Mr. Bernstein lives with his wife in Florida and California.
