Wrigleyville Sports Expands Store and Celebrates 20 Years in Wrigleyville, Announces "20 Days of Social Media Promotions"
Wrigleyville Sports, a retailer of Chicago Cubs merchandise, is located across the street from Wrigley Field in Chicago. Celebrating its 20th year, the store is expanding its size and sponsoring promotions and contests via social media outlets.


CHICAGO, IL, March 26, 2010 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Wrigleyville Sports, a retailer of Chicago Cubs merchandise, is located across the street from historic Wrigley Field in Chicago. Now in its 20th year in Wrigleyville, the store is expanding, nearly doubling its size. To celebrate the anniversary and expansion, Wrigleyville Sports will be sponsoring 20 days of promotions and contests focused on internet social media outlets.

"We've built a tremendous fan base for our store through the use of social media web sites, such as Facebook and Twitter," said Dave Weiss, Wrigleyville's Manager of Internet Marketing. "We want to reward our customers and fans with promotions and giveaways that will be fun and interesting. We'll be giving away gift cards and online gift certificates for all sorts of things."

"We'll get things started with some simple promotions, like a random drawing from our Facebook Fans and Twitter followers. But we'll also do more interactive activities, like trivia contests", Weiss said. "We're going to do a 'Do Your Best Harry Caray Impression' contest on YouTube.com, and we're also planning a special series of 'Where is Wrigleyville Sports?' giveaways using Loopt.com."
