Cap Off a Great Summer with USSSA Baseball Event at Alabama's Beaches
Before the school bell rings, hundreds of youth baseball players will soak in the final few days of summer vacation with the USSSA Back to School Beach Blast on August 15th and 16th.
GULF SHORES, AL, August 08, 2009 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Before the school bell rings, hundreds of youth baseball players will soak in the final few days of summer vacation with the USSSA Back to School Beach Blast on August 15th and 16th.
Approximately 30 teams with players ranging in age from 7 to 18 years old are set to compete on both Saturday and Sunday from 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. Matches will be held at the Orange Beach Sportsplex. Adult admission (age 15 and over) is $10.00 per day or $25.00 for a tournament pass. Daily admission for children ages 6 through 14 is $6.00 while a tournament pass is $20.00 for this age group. Children age 5 and under will be admitted free of charge.
The Alabama Gulf Coast Sports Commission will welcome these upcoming events: USSSA Gulf Coast Border Wars Baseball Tournament (September 12-13) Brett Robinson Alabama Coastal Triathlon (September 19), the Perdido Beach Resort Flora-Bama Soccer Classic (September 19-20) and USTA Alabama League State Tri-Level Championships (September 24-27).
